Where we describe an item as handmade, handcrafted or artisan-made, we expect the principal character of the product to result from genuine human craftsmanship rather than industrial mass production.
Yaden Africa seeks to develop long-term relationships with artisans and responsible sourcing partners based on respect, transparency and fair commercial relationships.
Wherever possible, we source our products directly from artisans, independent makers and specialist workshops.
Yaden Africa aims to make exceptional African craftsmanship accessible to customers internationally. Shipping availability depends on the product, destination country, carrier availability, customs restrictions and applicable import/export regulations.
Delivery times depend on the shipping origin, destination, carrier, customs clearance and shipping method selected.

Where tracking is provided by the carrier, you’ll receive a tracking number after dispatch. Tracking information may take approximately 24–48 hours to become active.

Unless a product is identified as non-returnable, eligible products may generally be returned by notifying Yaden Africa within 14 days of delivery. Returned products must normally be unused, undamaged, in their original condition and securely packaged, with any accompanying accessories or documentation.
Yaden Africa’s approach to sustainability is based on responsible sourcing, transparency, craftsmanship, respect for artisans and cultural heritage. Where reclaimed, recycled, locally sourced or other responsibly selected materials are used, we aim to identify them specifically rather than making broad sustainability claims across the entire collection.
